It is our great pleasure to invite you to the IDF World
Dairy Summit on September 20-24, 2015 in Vilnius, Lithuania. This annual
Summit is known as world‘s premier event for dairy industry, bringing
dairy professionals and decision makers together to share their
knowledge and explore new networking opportunities.
The IDF World Dairy Summit 2015 is expected to attract
between 1200 and 1500 participants from all over the world. This grand
five-day event will be composed of a series of scientific conferences,
social events, exhibition, as well as technical and sightseeing tours.
Lithuania, this small Baltic country, is proud of its
modern and efficient dairy sector, which accounts for more than a
quarter of all Lithuanian food and beverages production. Country’s dairy
sector leaders will present their most advanced technologies and invite
participants to comprehensive technical tours around their
agricultural, industrial and scientific facilities. Moreover, green, but
vibrant streets of Vilnius are ready to welcome every participant with a
rich heritage, vast entertainment opportunities and a unique spirit
that will make their outside-the-conference experience unforgettable.

Scientific Programme
The IDF World Dairy Summit 2015, with a theme of Closing
the Nutritional Gap with Sustainable Dairy, focuses on the role dairy
industry could have in ensuring worldwide nutrition security. Besides
addressing these global challenges, the Summit’s scientific programme is
intended to cover a wide spectrum of issues that will impact on the
dairy sector’s modernisation, security and economic success in the
future.
You are kindly invited to get acquainted with the
preliminary programme. Organisers invite scientists, professionals and
sponsors from all over the world to contribute to the development of the
programme by making suggestions or submitting their scientific papers.
